This unique owl sculpture is indeed a masterpiece! It is attributed to Sergio Bustamante, a renowned mid-century artist known for his bird carvings. Unlike larger sculptures by Bustamante, this mini owl is relatively small.

Crafted from wood and painted in greens and reds, the owl features distinctive eyes made of brass, copper, and nail pupils, with a beak to match. Its legs and talons, crafted from brass and realistically detailed with three talons per foot, add to its lifelike appearance. The owls wings are intricately carved, and its body is rounded, resembling that of a barn owl.
