PLEASE NOTE ............ this item is selling AS-IS ....... i will describe it to the best of my ability , but nearly every item i sell is from 50 to 100 years old and will show some sign of wear

THIS LISTING ........i remember getting this a few years ago at a local estate auction ...... it reminds me of the famous Gillinder lions , but as it is not marked , i can not say who actually made it ........ the bottom measures ..... 5 inches tall and .... 8 inches across the rim ....... 9 1/2 inches tall with the lid in place ...... there are 3 lions on the base and all face to the left
. the finial is a lion much in the style of those you see in front of a library or on old Egyptian temples ......
. there is a very tiny chip ( flake ) on the bottom of the lid that is so small that i could not get a photo of it ...... it does not show when the lid is in place and must really be felt ...... otherwise it is not damaged in any way ...... i do not even see scratches ..... the pictures of the animals on the foot show all 3 of them

Usually the post office and sometimes UPS ......and sometimes the eBay shipping calculator is way off the mark ............. please ask if the shipping seems too much ....... often we can send it slower and save you some money ....., it simply depends on where you live ...... items going overseas naturally cost more to ship than those that stay in the states
we pay for insurance on everything we ship out of our own pocket
