"FIORET - 4 Medallion "CHOSE PROMISE"
**THIS IS A RARE ENOUGH PENDANT WHICH IS NOT SEEN VERY OFTEN**
Rene Lalique designed countless pendants between 1910-1922, but he was far too busy creating perfume bottles, vases, figurines and tableware to continue drawing jewelry.
"CHOSE PROMISE" (The Promised Thing) is owed originally to a glass button that was made to adorn each bottle of the same name perfume, that was a fragrance by FIORET.
Lalique liked his creation so much that he asked Fioret for his permission to sell "CHOSE PROMISE " as a sperate neck-pendant in his Maison Lalique. Fioret accepted the offer with the condition that the name "FIORET would remain on the piece. The pendant was included in Lalique Catalogs of 1928 and 1932.
The piece has THREE LITTLE HOLES which were used to affix to the Fioret perfume bottles.
