Strikingly illustrated with a tipped-in colour frontispiece, and nineteen tipped-in colour plates.
Collated, complete.
This collection, first published in 1883, threatened to spark a scandal due to its title. However the poems became much beloved by the American public, the collection including poems such as A Fallen Leaf, How Like the Sea, Says Cupid to Mammon, Friendship After Love, and more.
Illustrated throughout by Dudley Tennant.

CONDITION
In the original publishers cloth binding. Externally, smart, with some light marks and discolouration, as is usual to see with white cloth. Minor bumping to the extremities. A few small damp stains to the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the occasional scattered spot.
