THE DIAL: 100% mint, the silvered dial with with black Arabic numerals and in bright condition with no hairlines or chips and signed Waltham. The dial with blued steel hands. The diameter is 40 mm . The crystal is also in excellent condition and retained securely.
THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with a 3/4 damasced plate and a regulator, and blued screws. A cut two arm bimetallic balance, with Breguet hairspring and lever escapement. The movement overall of very good quality, with a cut-away plate . The watch ticking away on my desk as I type this, and keeping reasonable time for a 100 year old watch. The movement a Waltham 235 calibre.
THE CASE: 100% mint, the solid silver case measures an impressive 46 mm. The front and rear covers both close nice and tightly. The case fully marked with Fahys silver mark, and case number of 6920693. The rear cover in fine condition. The watch comes with a new presentation box to store the watch when not in use. This is a high quality watch, a work of art in its own right in crisp condition and of jewel like quality.
The pictures show minor reflections and various dark marks, these are an artefact from the lighting and are not present in the watch case. This is a very fine period watch in simply stunning condition, which is a very rare collectable item or a possible investment for the future or of course a fine gift for a birthday, anniversary, wedding etc.
